Public Service Announcement- Hanging up my shiatsu pants.

Helllloooo beautiful patients! It’s been a pleasure providing shiatsu for over 14 years however we have been winning awards and have gained so much recognition as a downtown Toronto Acupuncture clinic. We will be growing the clinic and phasing out the shiatsu aspect of our practice.

As you all know, I have a VERY patient focused practice. Whatever ye wants, I provide. I’ve never expected clients to pay more for shiatsu, cupping or anything else. My motto is, you are paying for my time and you are the boss! Having said that, I’ve decided to scale back on the  shiatsu aspect of my practice. Although I will still be practicing shiatsu and incorporating it into appointments, I’ve decided to focus more on acupuncture, gua-sha, cupping and moxibustion. Therefore moving forward, I will no longer be doing shiatsu-only treatments.  It’s been a hard decision however after 15 years of deep pressure elbowing and slinging bodies around the room, I’ve decided to practice what I preach, listen and honor your body.  I have a roster of amazing RMT colleagues who are more than willing to do deep pressure massage so hit me up and I can make a referral! I’m excited to take on more challenging patient health cases as a senior therapist and treat everyone using the incredible medicine that acupuncture can provide.

Side note-  Also, as many of you know, for the last year or so, getting an appointment has been trickier because of my increasing patient volume. I’m working hard to digitize my practice so I can hire someone.  So book at least one week in advance and you should have no problem getting your preferred treatment time.
